VCT News 2020

30 November 2020 -  Vintage Carriages Trust (VCT) Shop Reopens 3rd December 2020. Museum still closed.

In line with the lifting of government restrictions on non essential retail we will be reopening the VCT shop and magazine room only from Thursday 3 December. The museum will not be able to reopen and therefore will remain closed.

All visitors will need to wear a face covering and observe social distancing and sign in for the purpose of the track and trace system.

Thank you for all your continued support!

4 November 2020 -  Vintage Carriages Trust (VCT) Museum Closed from Thursday 5th November 2020

In line with the new national restrictions, our shop, magazine room and museum will be closed from Thursday 5th November until the end of the lockdown. Staff and volunteers will not be in the building every day as usual, and it is therefore likely we will NOT be taking magazine orders at this time.

If you have any enquiries, please contact: admin@vintagecarriagestrust.org

Please be aware this email will only be checked once or twice a week at the moment. For anything urgent, you can send us a direct message through social media, but your enquiry would have to be passed on to the correct department by our social media volunteers. We will post any updates related to re-opening closer to the time.

Thank you for all your continued support!

14 May 2020 -  Coronavirus Update

The Vintage Carriages Trust Museum at Ingrow as well as the Keighley and  Worth Valley Railway remain completely closed with no public access or any operational services.

We at VCT are working on contingency plans to be implemented when current restrictions are eased. This includes a risk assessment and a revised method of operation for our staff, volunteers and visitors alike to address all safety concerns when we are able to reopen. We are following government guidelines and would not anticipate a reopening before July at the earliest.

The VCT museum is in good order and both the building and its contents are secure.

Please bear with us and we will keep you informed of any changes as soon as this is possible.

20 March 2020 -  Coronavirus Update

Sadly, we have come to the decision that the Vintage Carriages Trust will be closing its doors to all, as of Monday 23rd March, until further notice.

This means we will not be allowing visitors into our Carriage Works museum or our shop, in line with HM Government guidelines. We are unfortunately unable to take magazine orders. For general enquiries, please contact:    admin@vintagecarriagestrust.org

 Thank you for your patience!
