The Trust welcomes new members. We offers many opportunities to volunteer:
The opportunity for "hands on" experience of carriage restoration. No special expertise or experience is necessary, but if you have this so much the better. Please call in any day of the week. If you are not certain about what's happening when, you can always email us.
Helping to run the shop and the Museum.
Joining the Magazine Room team.
Looking after our Museum visitors - a way to meet and talk to people.
For those who can only give armchair support we value your interest expertise and your input through letters and emails.
In return for your membership subscription you will receive:
An illustrated Newsletter every three or four months or so.
Free admission to the Museum and to sites where our Collection may be visiting.
Half price travel on Worth Valley Railway trains (except for 'Special Events').
Occasional group social outings.
The right to attend and to vote at the Trust's Annual Meeting.
Subscription Payment details - you may pay by sterling cheque (payable to "VCT"), by cash (UK pounds only, please), or by Maestro, MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Solo or JCB cards. If using any of these cards, please use fax, surface or air mail or email (contact details are listed on the Membership Form) to let us know how much you wish to pay, your name and address, the card number and expiry date, and the name on the card. If you can afford, please consider adding a donation; we intentionally keep our annual subscription very low.
If you live outside the UK, please also add a contribution towards the higher postage costs for the three Newsletters you should receive each year.
Membership rates are currently £10 annually, or £300 for Life Membership. If you pay UK Income Tax and are able to make a donation above your Membership fee, could you please also complete the "Gift Aid" form and send it to us - this will allow us to claim back the Income Tax you have already paid on your donation, so increasing the value of your donation by almost 30%, at no extra cost to you!
